PERFORMANCE

PERFORMANCE 1
THE CORE SPACE
Working with core and invited artists, the P1 Programme is a fluid encounter of training and making leading towards open sessions, scratch and more fully realised performance. It is a test-bed as much as it is a rehearsal and realisation process, exploring the company's creative pre-occupations and methodologies.

As with all of STATE OF GRACE'S work, collaboration across creative disciplines and forms is essential to the process. Celebrating artist's individual craft but asking that they occupy a new space within ensemble, we support and encourage boldness and a commitment to stretching and extending both forms of expression and individual and collective technique.

PERFORMANCE 2
THE OPEN SPACE
A vital element of the company's work is where artists meet communities and individuals of all kinds to  share ideas, train and make work. This exchange - a process of genuine equality - is central to STATE OF GRACE and represents our commitment to Expeditionary and Anthrolopological performance research and development.

The 2019 P2 Programme will see work grow in various ways with different regional, national and international communities. We have a particular commitment to working with diverse, remote and international communities and both P1 and P2 Programmes will continue our work on STORIES and SONGS (see RESEARCH).
